With the series premiere just two weeks away, things are now really heating up for Three Rivers!
- Check out the sneak peek video of the premiere episode, Tick-Tock, and the We’re Not Doctors behind the scenes look.
- For episode 1.02, Place of Life, the press release is now also available as well as the first stills of Alex O’Loughlin.
- New stills have been added for episode 1.01, Tick-Tock and some smaller stills have been replaced with HQ images.

- It appears that Three Rivers is set to air in Australia on Channel 10 (“Brand new series Three Rivers starring Australia’s own Alex O’Loughlin in a medical drama with “heart”) soon! There is no concrete information with regards to when the show will premiere, but several people have admitted to having been pleasantly surprised by promos ;-). TV Tonight’s advance TV guide only provides listings through September 27th at the moment, so please check back regularly. Channel 10 has a Three Rivers site but only the cast page is currently up. You can also follow Channel Ten on Twitter. From their blog post, Ten’s Line-Up for Second Half of 2009:
- Entertainment Weekly has posted an image from their recent photoshoot with Alex. There’s also a scan available of the article from their recent Fall TV Preview issue. You can tell from the video of the shoot that Alex was enjoying himself, so the photos turned out really great! Hopefully more will be released soon.
- Alex was also in issue #4 of Emmy magazine, with Three Rivers as topic. A scan has been added to the gallery — many thanks to Anita for the magazine!
THREE RIVERS: Starring Australia’s very own Alex O’Loughlin as Dr. Andy Yablonski, the highly-skilled workaholic lead organ transplant surgeon, Three Rivers is a medical drama that goes inside the emotionally complex lives of organ donors, the recipients and the surgeons at one of America’s leading transplant hospitals.
As Moonlight is never far from our minds:
- Check out the article Why TV Vampires Make Better Boyfriends Than Their Fictional Counterparts.
- Download a scan of the Interview with the New Vampire from the April 2008 issue of Watch! (I know we have a lot of new Alex fans who appreciate the older articles.) My thanks go to Lesley for the magazine!
- SyFy is holding another Moonlight marathon — episodes 9 through 16 will air on Friday, October 16th, starting at 8 am. Thanks to Bianca for the heads-up!
Additional items and updates:
- A flyer has been added to the gallery from the Australians Hit Hollywood screening at the Temecula Valley International Film Festival.
- A nice collection of photos of Alex O’Loughlin at the CBS Fall Launch Premiere Party LA’s MyHouse on Wednesday, September 16 are also in the gallery. Catch a quick glimpse of Alex @ 0:12 and a soundbite @ 1:12 in this video of the party!
- Three more stills have been released for The Back-Up Plan and one of them is truly smokin’ hot… so viewing is at your own risk. Many thanks to LovelyLopez and CBS Films for making them available!
- Rueben, one of the SoCal Freshies, has written a lovely account of her experiences at the Whiteout premiere on September 9th: A NiceGirl at a Hollywood Movie Premiere.
