“Three Rivers” Promo with Jack’s Mannequin’s “Swim”

CBS’s latest commercial for Alex O’Loughlin’s Three Rivers features Jack’s Mannequin’s latest single Swim – what a great song! You can view the official music video on the band’s website.

Jack’s Mannequin’s frontman Andrew McMahon explains, “For me Swim is a song about hope in seemingly hopeless places. As a cancer survivor whose life was saved by a stem cell transplant, the inclusion of Swim in the Three Rivers launch seemed almost fated.”

To help raise awareness for the documentary film Dear Jack, Andrew will be touring solo in October. The documentary chronicles his battle against leukemia when he was 22 and working on the band’s debut album. Andrew is in remission after receiving a stem-cell transplant from his sister. I agree with Dazzle. It does look like CBS is serious this time – too bad they weren’t serious about Moonlight – but as Alex said, “that was then and this is now”. Alex does deserve the biggest hit on TV – with him as the star, all CBS has to do is promote if properly and Alex will do the rest. Thanks for the video – very nice.

This really is a fantastic video, i thought they did a super slick job of mixing the “Swim” video with the clips from the show. It really is a perfect fit to have Jack’s Mannequin on a medical drama. I knew Andrew was a cancer survivor, never knew that info about him receiving the transplant from his sister – like he said, seems like fate.

Thanks MIzzoH. CBS is serious about really promoting Three Rivers and its cast, especially Alex O’Loughlin. It is about time. Alex deserves a hit drama series on television. I hope it will be a very successful show.
