Thanks to CBS Films, we can enjoy The Back-up Plan spot that was especially edited for the Super Bowl in HD! It’s not the romantic aspect of the movie that was highlighted for this annual testosterone-laden event, but rather its comedic charms.
Whether you love it or hate it, it got a lot of attention! Here’s what THR had to say about it:
If any movie may have raised its profile it was the improbably advertised romantic comedy “The Back-Up Plan,” which probably wouldn’t have even tried to waddle its femme-targeted self into the Super Bowl mix were it not presumably steeply discounted to the host network’s corporate sibling CBS Films. As if just seeing Jennifer Lopez in anything these days wasn’t jarring enough, an otherwise potentially passable film got notice by doing something very simple: sticking the majority of its 30 seconds to one raucous scene in which a woman appears to be giving birth inside a wading pool. Talk about making a splash on Super Bowl night.
Last but not least: don’t forget to vote for The Back-up Plan as 2010′s best Super Bowl commercial at SuperBowlAds.com!

It was pretty amazing to see the promo for TBUP during the Super Bowl, I just read that the ratings poised for all-time high and could be the first sports program to ever domestically crack 100 million viewers. Thanks for the video, I can’t wait to see the movie, April 23 can’t get here fast enough!
