‘Hawaii Five-0′ Theme Music Video & Rebooting the Theme Video

I was pleasantly surprised today when I discovered that there are actually two videos that CBS recently released about the Hawaii Five-0 theme song! The first one below you will have already seen. The one above is a longer version and is much more a “making of” video than the first, with Executive Producer Peter Lenkov and composer Brian Tyler explaining their vision.

Thank you Pam for this fascinating information. I didn’t know that Don Ho had sung this song before. I still love the Hawaii Five-0 theme song no matter what version I hear.
    :thankyou: :celebrate:

The original theme in a bold new presentation. Just like the “reboot” of the show. And believe it or not, there are lyrics to the song (Don Ho sang it in the 60s):

    If you’re feeling lonely
    You can come with me
    Feel my arms around you
    Lay beside the sea
We will think of somethin’ to do
Do it til it’s perfect for you
    And for me too
    You can come with me.

So leave your world behind you
    You can come with me
Sing a song I’ll teach you
    Live your fantasy
Love ya in a natural way
Doesn’t matter what time of day
    You and I play
    You can come with me
    Won’t you come with me
    You can come with me…

    Sing it, Danno!!

Thank you Mizz. I have always love the Hawaii Five-0 theme song. It’s in my head all the time. This new show is the only one that will have a memorable and exciting theme song on CBS in September.

    :thankyou: :celebrate: :good2:
