Here’s a great video from Hawaii News Now of Alex O’Loughlin, Daniel Dae Kim, Scott Caan and Masi Oka at Hickam Elementary School yesterday, where they helped students with the planting of the American Heart Association Teaching Garden, a hands-on project to educate children about healthy living habits. This initiative was organized by ServiceNation in honor of Veterans Day.
Daniel does a brilliant job of engaging the kids and everyone seems to have a great time, including Uncle Alex who apparently knows all about fertilizer…

There was no way to keep him from asking if the kids knew what fertilizer was made from and when Daniel started talking about growing big coconuts… well they quickly took the camera off the three “boys” down in front of the stage. I didn’t think Alex was going to keep from falling down from all the tittering and snickering that was going on. He said that he couldn’t keep from laughing anytime bathroom humor was mentioned… he is a man of his word.
Absolutely Daniel is the adult in this pack…

OMG! I laughed so hard when I saw Alex’s reaction to Daniel’s comments on the coconuts! I’d give anything to have been in the vehicle on the way home from that event! Bet that Daniel had some coconuts in his trailer this morning!!!
