Alex O’Loughlin is one of People magazine’s 100 sexiest men – check out their 100 Sexy Men in 1 Minute video!

This year’s hotties are not listed in any particular order, but Alex appears at the 5-0 second mark, which is quite appropriate. :giggle: Don’t blink though, or you’ll miss him – be on the lookout for the pic on the left.

To commemorate the occasion, you might want a copy of the exact same pic in HQ.

New Weekly in Australia has posted a gallery of 20 Hot Aussies and Alex O’Loughlin is one of them!

Have you noticed all the hot young Aussies taking Hollywood by storm? Sam Worthington in Avatar, Abbie Cornish in Bright Star and of course, Miranda Kerr and those amazing long legs strutting on catwalks around the globe.

AOLR Weekly Wrap-Up #26

Just a short update for this week!

  • The Show Patrol blog has named Alex O’Loughlin their Shirtless Man of the Week and there’s a great slideshow to enjoy (grab a cold drink first!): Show Patrol.
  • With the recent release of Ethan Hawke’s Daybreakers as an excuse ;-), TV Guide has posted a photo gallery of the Sexiest TV & Movie Vampires and of course they included our Mick St. John!
  • Michael Abernethy at PopMatters has included Alex in his review of The Best TV Performances in 2009. Considering there are thousands of actors who don’t rate a mention, it’s great that Alex does:

    Alex O’Loughlin has charm, but he can’t catch a break. After being the vampire du jour on the short-lived Moonlight, he struck out again as a doctor on Three Rivers this fall. In between, though, he turned in an eerie performance as an obsessive-compulsive serial killer on Criminal Minds.

  • CRO has posted another blog about Alex’s motorbike with pictures (NOT of Alex ;-)): Sporty.
  • As the press conference for Harrison Ford’s Extraordinary Measures took place on January 8 (release date is January 22), it’s reasonable to expect that the press conference for The Back-up Plan will be held early April! (Thanks to Nadioz for this tidbit!)
  • Don’t forget: the Whiteout DVD & Blu-ray will be released in the US on January 19th and in the UK on January 25th! You won’t be able to catch the movie on NetFlix until mid February as Warner Bros. and NetFlix have recently agreed that WB movies won’t be available on NetFlix until 28 days after the DVD release.
  • I’ve added 2 “new old” pictures of Alex from the Speed Racer premiere in 2008 to the gallery: 1 and 2.

“Moonlight: The Complete Series” DVD is Billboard’s #1 in Top TV DVD Sales This Week

This is my second post today on listings… Even if Alex O’Loughlin is “only” at number 4 on BuddyTV’s latest hottie list,  the recently released US DVD of Moonlight: The Complete Series came in at the top position on Billboard’s Top TV DVD Sales this week. Way to go, guys! It makes me want to go out and buy more copies, just to help keep it in that sweet #1 spot :-)

BuddyTV Recognizes Alex O’Loughlin Among TV’s Sexiest Men

After having left out Alex O’Loughlin in a previous edition of their “TV’s 50 Sexiest Men”, BuddyTV have now seen the error of their ways. They have published the second edition of their list of television hotties, who, this time, were selected by BuddyTV users.

“Who are the sexiest men on TV? After we made our own list, you responded with a ton of suggestions about the guys we left off, so BuddyTV now brings you TV’s Sexiest Men, Part 2. We listened to your comments and compiled a new list with another 50 of the hottest men on television.“

While I applaud the fact that they’re not afraid to admit they’ve blundered, it looks like BuddyTV now need to learn the difference between boys and men. Alex O’Loughlin at number 4? C’mon guys, you know better than that… :-)
