More fresh blood is coming to Hawaii Five-0! Autumn Reeser will make her first appearance in episode 2.04 as Dr. Akina, the pretty curator of a maritime museum who catches Danny Williams’ eye when he and Steve call upon her expertise in a murder case involving sunken treasure.
TV|Line reports that Autumn’s role is a potentially recurring one, and the term “love interest” is mentioned too, so we may be seeing more of her in later installments.
In case you haven’t put two and two together yet: Autumn will appear in the same episode that Peter Fonda (playing a treasure-hunting sea captain) and Patty Astin (playing the mother of the murder victim) are guest starring in. It certainly sounds like Rachel and Danny are history, although I doubt that she is out of the picture completely as she is still the mother of his child (and there’s still the matter of Rachel’s pregnancy to clear up).
How it all ties together, will hopefully be revealed on September 19 when Hawaii Five-0 returns to CBS. The treasure-hunting episode will most likely air in October.
Interesting development MIzz. I will reserve judgment until I see what Peter has created for us and how it continues the story.
Good. The whole Danny and Rachael back together without any real hint adn suddenly she’s pregnant was a terrible idea and awful writing. It was soap opera bad and the writer(s) responsible should be ashamed.
