Tis a sad sad day. I just found out that the stupid NZ TV twats have taken Hawaii Five-0 out of its regular time slot. Instead of being 8.30pm Wednesday night, it’s 11.30pm Monday night !!!
This was the one programme I genuinely looked forward to each week. I could record it but it’s the principal of the thing. Apparently the ratings weren’t good or some such crap. I think I should immigrate to another country !!
So now I really can’t wait for season one to come out on DVD !!!

I bought and watched ‘The Back-up Plan’ last weekend and it was hilarious, thoroughly enjoyed it. Can you recommend any other good Alex movies for a newbie fan?

I can certainly recommend Oyster Farmer and Mary Bryant (both available on DVD). A must-see is most definitely Moonlight (Mick St. John is just… and the voice-overs are to die for ). And after you’re better acquainted with him – and not too squeamish – check out FEED. It’s weird, fascinating, strangely funny and horrific… Alex gives such a good performance. All of his work is certainly worth watching, but I’d start out with those.
