I just joined this page and I am so glad I found so much info in there …you really are doing a great job and, no doubt are a great fan of Alex…….I am a great fan of him too and probably the only one in my country hahahaha, because there’s only some crapy TV Shows that are shown in our TV’s nothing like Moonlight or Three Rivers or Hawaii 5 O, I am trying to watch them all online but it is difficult……I adore this person….not as an actor not as a celebrity but from what I read about him so far…as a human being…..there’s less and less like him in today’s world….I just pray fame does not spoil him….or ruin him like it has many others before…..I wish you a great day and keep up the good work….thank you so much.

Only Scott has been officially announced as a presenter at the Emmys today. I doubt Alex will be there… he has already mentioned he finds that kind of thing excruciating, so it’s not something he’d volunteer to do.
Hi Mizzoh….I’ve been having trouble viewing video clips posted on this site since you started the video site. They will play however start and stop and start, etc. Sometimes only the audio will play with video frozen on one image. I also can’t enlarge the video image to my full screen which I could do before.
Any suggestions?

Do you still have the same problem when you pause the video and let it load completely first?
Check whether your Flash Player is up to date for your browser (it should be updated automatically).
Make sure your browser is up-to-date; try a different one (I use both Chrome and Firefox; I’m not a fan of IE, but I have a third computer that still has IE7 and even that works).

Bueno, te dejo tengo que irme a trabajar.
I do occasionally post pictures of Alex and Saxon if they have appeared in reputable print media and if it is clear that Alex knew the shots were being taken. For others, I go entirely with my instincts and also consider the source they came from. Anything I’m uncomfortable with, I don’t post.
As there is so much public outdoor filming for H50, and as Saxon is now older and Hawaii is closer to Australia, he seems to be spending more time with his Dad in situations where he is photographed. Alex is also mentioning more in interviews his love for his son and the importance and closeness of their relationship.
With a few exceptions, all my sources are listed and credited.
As to what show I like better: Moonlight or H50, that’s like comparing apples with oranges! They each have their own merits and the individual roles Alex has in both shows are as different as night and day. He is obviously happy where he is now doing H50, and that’s what matters to me. To be honest, I’m perfectly content seeing him weekly on my TV in any show, but I am very much enjoying the fact that H50 is a success for him and that he now has the means to do the things that he wants to do.
Alex also seems to have settled in Hawaii and found that it has become a real home for him, and that is important for me too. If he is happy, then I am happy!
Mizzo, where did u get all the information on Alex to post on this site? Do u live in Hawaii and live close to the Hawaii 5-0 set or where?
Another question about Alex i read somewhere but I did not understand.I read somewhere that between Alex and Saxos mother is a little bit of an age difference. . I mean much younger than Alex, is that true?

Great site! Lots of great updates–and I’m definitely a H50 and AOL fan now. But I’m new to this site and have a couple of questions. There’s a photo of AOL’s new puppy and says her name is Reggie, but in an interview on Hawaii News (on youtube in July 2011) he says his dog’s name is Dusty. Which is it or are there two dogs? Also, he says no significant other in that same interview. You mean this guy is single? How can that be humanly possible? Okay, the last question is really a comment…
It hasn’t been confirmed whether Reggie and Dusty are actually the same dog. What added to the confusion is that there is also a Border Collie named Bauer (he belongs to Nicole Burke, who worked on the show as a 1st AD in S01) who also has black & white markings and is in many pictures and also appeared in an episode of H50.
In any case, the pics you refer to are of Alex’s puppy that was named Reggie at the time… I hope that makes sense!
I agreed with u Kpete555 how is humanly possible this guy is single and not dating or hanging out with any girl at this moment. In soem itnerview with HNN he did say his dog name is Dusty and he has no significant other for sure. But hey ladies I rather see him single and no dating otherwise i be very very jealous, haha!! Well I think not all good looking guys has the obligation to date if they are single, maybe he is ok like that being single and not commit, even if he had a gf in the past. Mizzoh: Great interview with Dana from Vermont. Just spent a very enjoyable hour listening on her blog. You guys covered all aspects of Alex’s career and training. It was awesome. I have to tell you that when I first discovered Alex last September I went searching the internet for anything I could find about him. I felt like I was living under a rock. How on earth had I not discovered this man sooner. One of the first sites I found was AOLR and it has been one of my top two favorites ever since (Officer808′s Undercover page being the other). Not a day goes by when your sites are not the first ones I check!
I have spent this summer while waiting for the return of H50 reading through all your archives and WOW…as much as I already loved the site, reading all the way back has been wonderful. What a great job you do. And the video page is a godsend. So much easier than trolling through YouTube and trying to save everything I love. Now it’s all in one place. Great idea.

Alex used to be TV’s best-kept secret, and we realized things were starting to change when he worked on The Back-up Plan with Jennifer. As soon as I saw the H50 opening credits last May, I knew there was no going back. This was “it”. There are a lot of things that I wish for Alex, and one of them is that he has many loyal fans who appreciate and respect him and don’t expect anything more from him than his best performance in whatever show or movie he decides to do. (OK, AND a hot photoshoot every now and then… we are, after all, fangirls! )
Watching The Back Up Plan again, know the lines by heart, can’t get enough of him, he’s such a great actor!
What’s your take on the absence of Grace and Daniel in stills and press as well as Rachel and Gracie?
You’ve only seen the stills for 2.02 and only one still has been released for 2.01 and that is actually of Daniel and Terry O”Quinn.
Daniel and Grace will definitely be in episode 1; Kono will be involved in a multi-episode arc with William Baldwin’s character when he comes on board. So I wouldn’t read too much into who is in the stills and who is not. The reason they released the 2.02 set of stills before 2.01 is probably because they’re much more spectacular
And as for the press – it’s only been about the newcomers as far as season 2 is concerned. The recent article on Scott was an article that appeared elsewhere last year. Yes, there’s been press about Alex, but that’s about him and not the show specifically. And don’t forget that Daniel also did some promotional work during his hiatus.
Rachel and Gracie are recurring characters and they’ve only been in stills in episodes that are Danny-centric, and there was a fair share of those in season 1.
Just wanted to agree with the comments from Devilinme. I have had lots of fun reading all of the weekly updates today. They have really cheered me up on a gloomy day weather wise here in the UK.

You’ve only seen the stills for 2.02 and only one still has been released for 2.01 and that is actually of Daniel and Terry O”Quinn.
Daniel and Grace will definitely be in episode 1; Kono will be involved in a multi-episode arc with William Baldwin’s character when he comes on board. So I wouldn’t read too much into who is in the stills and who is not. The reason they released the 2.02 set of stills before 2.01 is probably because they’re much more spectacular
And as for the press – it’s only been about the newcomers as far as season 2 is concerned. The recent article on Scott was an article that appeared elsewhere last year. Yes, there’s been press about Alex, but that’s about him and not the show specifically. And don’t forget that Daniel also did some promotional work during his hiatus.
Rachel and Gracie are recurring characters and they’ve only been in stills in episodes that are Danny-centric, and there was a fair share of those in season 1.
Just wanted to agree with the comments from Devilinme. I have had lots of fun reading all of the weekly updates today. They have really cheered me up on a gloomy day weather wise here in the UK.
