Summary:
“Ho’ohuli Na’au*”– It’s the worst kind of overexposure when world-renowned photographer Renny Sinclair is murdered while on assignment in Hawaii shooting the annual swimsuit edition of a top sports magazine. Danny, who has to interview each of the shell-shocked models, thinks this might be Five-0?s best case ever.* “Ho’ohuli Na’au” is Hawaiian for “Close to Heart.”

Memorable Quotes:
Danny:
I’m going to talk to these models.
Steve:
Okay, just stay with questions related to the case, all right?
Danny:
What’s that supposed to mean?
Steve:
It means that I know you. I’m just saying, stick to the case.
Danny:
Hey, hey – they’re just women.
Chin Ho:
Who happen to be insanely hot and make millions of dollars.
Danny:
I didn’t know either of those things.
Kono:
You’re so busted.
+++
+++
Danny:
[To Steve] Look at this: the guy is like a fifteen year-old girl. All text messages, no phone calls.
+++
+++
Danny:
[To Steve] It’s not coded text, no need for your little Ramboette. This is not your cloak-and-dagger spook speak, this is Daddy’s world, okay?
+++
+++
Danny:
Yeah, I got the perfect guy. A real whale.
Steve:
A high-stakes gambler?
Danny:
No, he’s literally a whale.
+++
+++
Kamekona:
You don’t understand. These are big, scary guys.
Danny:
Big, scary guys, huh?
+++
+++
Danny:
I’m sorry, I just overheard. Did you say, “lickings”? Do you know how difficult it is to sound like a tough guy when you say a word like “lickings”? Just try “beatings”, “I’m gonna give you a beating”, it works, trust me. On a lot of different levels.
+++
+++
Marcum:
Gentlemen, I take it you’re part of Honolulu’s law enforcement community.
Danny:
What gave us away?
Marcum:
You’re wearing a tie in Hawaii.
+++
+++
Danny:
I’m still taking surfing lessons, so you know. And word on the street is that I shred.
