For Alex O’Loughlin, the buzz down under is good! Check out Channel 7′s The E-File segment in the Oz breakfast show Sunrise, where they featured The Back-up Plan trailer on January 20th. Presenter Nelson Aspen was “inundated with emails and tweets [from Dawn Patrollers] wanting to know more about Alex”!
He also calls the movie “a fun, romantic comedy”!

The Daily Telegraph in Sydney also ran a snippet on January 22nd as did the Herald Sun (January 21st) about Alex and his possible role in CBS’s revival of Hawaii Five-O:

It’s so great to hear about him being discussed and promoted in his homeland and I truly hope he takes this role!
January 26th is Australia Day, a national holiday there and I hope he realizes we consider him one of Oz’s greatest exports!
I, too, am excited about the buzz in Australia about Alex. He needs more buzz over here. He’s hot and needs to have TV Guide and People magazine recognize that his fans want to see more of him in their publications. We need a write-in campaigne to get that started.

Thank you MizzoH. I’m happy and excited for Alex O’Loughlin as he is making a big splash and headlines in his own country. He is an extremely versatile and talented actor, who deserves successful. I wish and pray that all the rumors about Alex portraying the lead role of Chris McGarrett on Hawaii Five O will come true for the 2010-2011 television on CBS. I also can hardly wait to see Alex on The Back Up Plan.
