More spoilers from Peter Lenkov via TV Guide about tonight’s finale to add to the already interminable suspense!
Of course, we will be getting some answers about the champ box and its contents:
“We played the ‘champ box’ over the course of the first season, and it feels like we have to come to some kind of resolution with it. It’ll feel odd for two guys who are investigators to not be able to discover what those clues are. They can solve all these other crimes but not answer the questions right in front of them? But I think with everything that’s answered, there’s going to be a new question posed.”
Wo Fat takes charge, and we see him fire shots at close range at someone wearing a gray shirt in the BTS video:
“McGarrett is not letting go of that bone. He is continually trying to get that information and pursuing Wo Fat, and that makes him finally surface. Wo Fat decides he’s got to be a little more proactive with how he deals with McGarrett.”
“But the finale isn’t necessarily a manhunt,” Lenkov continues. “There is a murder, and so there’s definitely a mystery element to the show that we always have. It just happens to involve one of our people very personally and very directly.”
“The governor can only protect him so much,” Lenkov says. “McGarrett is a guy who goes to extremes. He’s going go further than he’s gone all season and he’s going to be very reckless.
“It’s going to end and your jaw’s going to be on the floor,” Lenkov adds. “It really is a shocker. I’m probably not doing myself any favors because it sounds like I’m overhyping it, but … it’s going to be a great reward. We’re really going to pay off a lot of stuff we set up. And it’s really got a great twist at the end.”

Sure, now we have more questions that need to be answered, and we’ll have to wait until September (I think it will be October) before we get to watch again, and Rachel is pregnant?!, and McG is going to jail of all places….my heart just can’t take all this drama.

Thank you Mizz. I will be completely glued to my television screen tonight, as well as recording this season 1 finale of Hawaii Five-0. It is going to be a very long and hot summer, anxiously waiting
for season 2 premiere in September to find out what happens next.
Well this is the best finale all season anywhere!! The wait will be interminable and we will all go crazy!
