The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films have announced the nominations for the 35th Annual Saturn Awards. Moonlight is one of seven nominations in the category “Best Television Series Release on DVD”.
The Academy was founded in 1972 to honor and recognize genre filmmaking. The organization also honors television, and home entertainment. The awards show will take place on June 25th in Burbank, California.
Unfortunately we can’t vote for our Moonlight as official ballots are only sent out to members of the academy :-)

This is great news…a well deserved award…I hope they realise that it was a mistake not to renew for a second season!!

I am praying that Moonlight wins this award. I agree with Bianca33 – it truly does seem that the entire world knows how wonderful Moonlight is and always will be – except for the people who are responsible for its cancellation.
Wow!That is great news. I wish that CBS had given Moonlight the second season that it so much deserved. It seems that the entire world is aware how fantastic this show is, except fot TPTB.
