ET Online today posted a brief article about The Back-Up Plan after having spoken with Alex O’Loughlin at what appears to have been the CBS, the CW and Showtime All-Star Party on August 3rd in Pasadena!
“It is a comedy that has romantic elements, it has a lot of physical comedy and it has a lot of dramatic moments, too,” O’Loughlin tells ET at a party for his new CBS series, “Three Rivers.”
“[Director] Alan Poul met with me and offered me the film,” he continues. “I met Jennifer and it all seemed to fit. I went straight from the pilot of ‘Three Rivers’ to the movie, and I just finished the movie and started filming the show. It has been a non-stop ride the last few months. I think it is going to be a good film.”
“Jennifer is amazing. I am very lucky,” O’Loughlin says of his co-star.

Alex is such a gentleman – he always knows the right thing to say. I just know that this movie is going to be so much fun. Alex has been working so hard it’s incredible. In one recent article he summed things up by saying, “I can sleep when I’m dead…” That is so Alex – so full of life and passion and he works so hard. It shows in all of his work.
