Alex O’Loughlin Supports The Elephant Project

alex_o'loughlin_elephant_projectAlex O’Loughlin is one of many celebrities who have posed for a photo for The Elephant Project, an organization that raises funds and promotes awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. The 8×10 photo, taken of him with an elephant beanie baby on his shoulder on December 15th, will be auctioned off in a package together with an autographed Elephant Project card and an elephant beanie baby!

The giant pachyderm was chosen to represent the organization because elephants never forget.

Rounds of auctions take place every few months, so check The Elephant Project website regularly or better yet, follow them on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook!

Alex’s photo hasn’t been uploaded to the project website (yet), but was posted on TwitPic along with photos of Justina Machado and Kate Moennig.

The Elephant Project is also running a contest on Twitter. By retweeting the message “Follow @elephantproject and join your favorite celebrities in fighting Alzheimer’s disease! (www.elephantproject.org)”, you may win a Three Rivers cast photo. A winner will be picked randomly tonight (December 16th) from the all the retweets, so here is their Twitter URL again: http://twitter.com/elephantproject.
