Criminal Minds and Alex O’Loughlin sure know how to keep us in uncertainty! TVGuide.com published an interview with Paget Brewster (SSA Prentiss on the show), who shed a tiny bit of light on what’s happening. Contrary to popular belief (my own included), it doesn’t look like Alex’s episode, The Big Wheel, will be the season finale after all. Criminal Minds will have a total of 26 episodes this season and Alex’s is the 23rd.
However — and I’m just thinking out loud here – Alex definitely implied in his MySpace responses to various fans just two weeks ago that he had finished his work on Criminal Minds. So, was he just tying up loose ends last week on the set… or were they shooting something else?
Let’s hope Paget has tossed us a red herring… I was all set for a spin-off with Alex in the leeeeeaad. We must be the most patient fans in history. C’mon Alex, please put us out of our misery soon!

I know what you mean – we used to joke around at HeyNielsen about spending so much time waiting for all things Alex – like WhiteOut. It’s never his fault, and I would imagine it is very frustrating for him. All we can do is continue to let Alex know that we are there and we will wait as long as it takes.
