Alex O’Loughlin at Pebble Beach 2008

Attracting over 400 vintage race cars, the annual Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races are a popular affair. In 2008, the 35th Historics took place from August 15-17 at the event’s home track, the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, California. The Historics, the Pebble Beach Concours  d’Elegance and the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance are just several of a series of complimentary automobile events held every August on the Monterey Peninsula. These gatherings draw a large, international audience every time.

The Laguna Seca raceway is very popular among racing enthusiasts and is known for its corkscrew turns combined with dramatic drops in elevation.

It was during the 35th Historics that these cool trackside photos of Alex O’Loughlin were snapped! It looks like Alex was able to walk around quite anonymously for some well-deserved post-Moonlight enjoyment.

George Vidovic of Python Racing Australia (in both pictures with Alex) was there to participate in some of the races and he very kindly granted Alex O’Loughlin Rocks and Long Legs O’Loughlin special permission to publish these images. Thank you, George!
